In Montana there are many beautiful lakes, Armour Pond is one of them. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Trout Lake is a good lake right next door to Armour Pond. Not much rainfall falls here at Armour Pond; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Armour Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Hicks Park Campground is a glorious local campground,

| | and going for a hike on the Buffalo Plateau Trail is always a good adventure.
If you need a spot to stay Murray Hotel is a great choice, and Bramble Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. There's so much to do here at Armour Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hells Canyon Campground is a wonderful place for that, and you can go for a hike on the Sidehill Trail. Range.
So many fun things in the Absaroka Range, just unbelievable. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder River, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Poacher Trail. Throughout the summertime at Armour Pond
temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Armour Pond tend to be in the 10's.
