Montana has many beautiful lakes and Armour Pond is one of them. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Absaroka Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder River, and a great place to camp here at Armour Pond is Hells Canyon Campground. Bramble Creek flows through this area, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Armour Pond; Buffalo Plateau Trail is a wonderful local trail. This site, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Armour Pond. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not stop at Trout Lake close to Armour Pond, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Sidehill Trail. Murray Hotel is a great spot to get some rest, and camping is available at Hicks Park Campground.

This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Poacher Trail, and you'll hit upon a scenic lake called Emerald Lake. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. High temperatures at Armour Pond all through the warm
months are in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Armour Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
