There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Absaroka Range. Lake Aries is a nearby lake that you could pop by. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Absaroka Range, not sufficient time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Stillwater River. There's so much to do here at Anvil Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Colter Campground is a great site for that. At Anvil Lake throughout the summertime months       highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Anvil Lake. Hiking along the Pilot Creek Trail is splendid fun; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Big Timber. It is very dehydrated here at Anvil Lake frequently; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most, and February on                  the other hand is the driest. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Stay the night at Soda Butte Campground; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Thunderer Cutoff Trail. Get covered with water paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone; Lulu Pass is beyond doubt a tremendous location to have a look at. Anvil Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful.
