    What a nice lake Anvil Lake is. From a rainfall point of view Anvil Lake is a quite typical place; June is the month that gets the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Anvil Lake; Copeland Lake Trail is a pleasant local trail, and while you're here, you could also explore striking Anchor Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Crazy Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and Crazy Creek  
   Campground is a tremendous campground here.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. You definitely ought to love Anvil Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Red Lodge Mountain while you're here, and Crazy Mountain is clearly visible from Anvil Lake. Paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone is so much fun, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Reno Trail.

               outdoors entertaining stuff. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Anvil Lake reach the 70's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, ordinarily in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Anvil Lake are in the 0's. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Absaroka Range. Clarks Fork Yellowstone River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Creek Campground is a great spot to camp.
