A visit to Antelope Pond is always a good idea. Antelope Pond is pretty dry generally; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. All through the days of summer at Antelope Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Antelope Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a good little visit to Elk

| | Creek, and do take a hike on the Middle Fork Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Howard Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Antelope Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cliff Point Campground is a good site for that. After a long day outdoors Island Park Village Resort is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Antelope Pond has to offer, you can camp at Upper Lake Campground. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Sheridan Creek Trail.
