A short visit to Lyon Creek Spring is always worthwhile. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Anderson Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Holiday Campground. At Anderson Reservoir during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Anderson Reservoir are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
