Anderson Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Anderson Lake is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range. High temperatures at Anderson Lake throughout the summer months are in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Anderson Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Anderson Lake; Smith Creek Trail is a good local trail, and camping

| | is available at Home Gulch Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Dearborn River offers some great whitewater, and if you came for an overnight stay Wagons West Campground is a good place to camp. Glide down the rapids of Falls Creek in a kayak, and pleasant hiking is available along the Ford Willow Creek Trail. of the year is February.
Be careful coming to the Lewis Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. The Steamboat Lookout Pass offers hiking at its best, and not far from Anderson Lake you obtain some good water scenery at Anderson Lake Dam. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do near Anderson Lake.
