Home Gulch Campground is a tremendous local campground, and hiking along the Smith Creek Trail       is great fun. All year is a magnificent time in the Lewis Range if you adore the outdoors. Anderson Lake is located in the Lewis Range. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Lewis Range, too good to be true. Anderson Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Wagons West Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby; Falls Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. Anderson Lake in fact is in the middle of a delightful                  outdoors paradise. You could also stop by Nilan Reservoir if you're here at Anderson Lake; it's close by, and do take a hike on the Ford Willow Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Steamboat Lookout Pass, and whitewater paddling is good on Dearborn River. During the summer at Anderson Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's.
