Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do near Anchor Lake. A glorious vista of delightful Highboy Mountain is available from Anchor Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Pioneer Mountains. Summertime highs at Anchor Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Anchor Lake night low temperatures through the       wintertime are in the 0's. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Dillon is a magnificent location to spend a night or two; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Gold Creek Trail. If you came to camp Mono Creek Campground is a perfect location to do that, and a charming lake like Anchor Lake is a perfect place to take a look at. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Pioneer Mountains. There's so much to do here at Anchor Lake that you need to camp                  here for a while, Dinner Station Campground is a brilliant site for that, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Driveway Trail. This lake is so wonderful. At Anchor Lake North Dam next to Anchor Lake there are some exciting things to see, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Rhubarb Patch Trail.
