Soar down the rapids of Blackfoot River in a kayak; don't forget to take a splendid little trip to Bertha Creek. Here at Lake Alva you'll probably meet some folks from Missoula. Going for a hike on the Foothills Trail is always a tremendous adventure. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Alva has to offer, you can camp at Lake Alva Campground. This lake is so wonderful.       Golf can be played at Double Arrow Golf Course, and Rainy Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. Summertime highs at Lake Alva mostly tend to be in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Lake Alva through the winter frequently sink into the 10's. There is a pleasant hiking trail in the vicinity of Lake Alva called the Morrell Falls National Recreation Trail. There's so much to do here at                  Lake Alva that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Inez Campground is a brilliant place for that. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Lake Alva is great! If you get bored of Lake Alva, you could also have a look at close by Lake Inez, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Holland Falls National Recreation Trail.
