  North Fork Racetrack Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth stopping at; everyone nearby loves skiing at Discovery Ski. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Alpine Lake during the wintertime you may always stop at Adventure Snowmobile and rent a snow mobile. Do visit Alpine Lake Dam since you're here at Alpine Lake; after a long day outdoors Drummond Motel is a fine place to spend a night or two.
A beautiful lake like Georgetown Lake in close proximity
    to Alpine Lake is a good spot to visit, and at Alpine Lake you can catch a glimpse of Racetrack Peak. Places like Finley Basin are delightful to take a look at, and why not camp at Lost Creek Campground since you're here at Alpine Lake.
