This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge is a good choice. It is very waterless here at Alpine Lake generally; the wettest month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February. Why not take a look at Alpine Lake Dam since you're here;       while you're here why not explore Racetrack Pass. You could also explore Albicaulis Lake if you're here at Alpine Lake; it's close by, and Finley Basin is right here at Alpine Lake. You can observe Racetrack Peak from Alpine Lake, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Discovery Ski is rather near. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Alpine Lake is right by the Long Canyon Trail, and some nearby water includes North Fork Racetrack                  Creek. Through the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 80's at Alpine Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Alpine Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
