If you are in Flathead county it's always a good idea to stop by Alpha Lake. Alpha Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. On a nice day at Alpha Lake you can take a hike along the Alpine Trail; if you're keen on cool geologic marks try Devils Elbow. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Alpha Lake; all through November this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the

Just can't get enough of the Lewis Range. Alpha Lake is a site with many visitors from Kalispell, and dry warm beds await you at Glacier Park Super 8 Motel. Aurora Creek is a great site to go to, and if you've had enough of Alpha Lake, Fawn Lake is close by. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork.

in the Lewis Range. If the weather is fine here at Alpha Lake, you can go for a hike along the Doris Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Alpha Lake that you need to camp here for a while, South Lion Lake Campground is a good
place for that. Glacier National Park is one of the destinations right next door to Alpha Lake that are nice to go to; you're probably into lakes, Lion Lake is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Flathead River - Middle
Fork is a fine whitewater spot close to Alpha Lake; if you came to camp North Lion Lake Campground is a good location to do that.
Summertime highs at Alpha Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are usually
in the 50's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Alpha Lake descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Bad Rock B&B
is a good choice; going for a hike along the Columbia Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
