The beauty of Alp Lake is reason enough to stop by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Alp Lake. A perfect close by hotel is Arrowhead, and Hilgard Basin is a glorious site here at Alp Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Cutoff Trail, and why not head up to Big Sky and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. | | great hiking along the Lightning Creek Trail. If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort West Yellowstone Conference is a delightful choice, and Madison River is a great whitewater spot close by. There's so much to do here at Alp Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rock Creek Campground is a perfect spot for that, and Alp Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Beaver Creek Campground 1 is a magnificent local campground. | |

There are other locations here than Alp Lake, for example Crag Lake; at Alp Lake you can catch a glimpse of Imp Peak. The snow is glorious at Moonlight Basin, and the Wapiti Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. It is very dried
up here at Alp Lake generally; June is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Alp Lake. Alp Lake is
in the vicinity of Expedition Pass which is positively worth visiting. Lakes? Sure, Expedition Lake is in the neighborhood. For the period of the long summer days at Alp Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's while nighttime
lows are commonly in the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's, and overnight lows at Alp Lake through the winter regularly fall into the 10's.
