    Alp Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. A journey to Pyramid Point close to Alp Lake is always a splendid idea, and hiking along the Lightning Creek Trail is great fun. Gotta ski! Moonlight Basin is a great location to do that, as expected you could also explore Crag Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Alp Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. The  
   cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Alp Lake tend to be in the 10's.
The slopes of Big Sky are so inviting noone can resist, and do take a hike on the Cutoff Trail. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do near Alp Lake. After a long day outdoors Arrowhead is a good location to spend a night or two; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Wapiti Creek Trail.
From Alp Lake
 
               you get a great panorama of Imp Peak, and you can stay the night at Beaver Creek Campground 1. This lake is so wonderful. Do set aside some time for Hilgard Basin since you're here at Alp Lake; a lake close by is Expedition Lake. Around Alp Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is January.
If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great world it would be. Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort West Yellowstone Conference is a good location to get some rest; naturally, A tour to Expedition Pass is always fun. A fine spot for whitewater paddling near Alp Lake is Madison River, and Alp Lake is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Rock Creek Campground is a delightful site to camp nearby.
