Camping is available at Lewis and Clark RV Park, and Comfort Inn Shelby is a magnificent location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Aloe Lake, for example Goedertz Lake, and if you yearn for a little side visit, try Potter Coulee. What a location this is for outdoors       folks. At Aloe Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Not far from Aloe Lake, you'll hit upon McLean Reservoir which is a stunning lake; a glorious place to camp here at Aloe Lake is Glacier RV Park. For the period of the summertime at Aloe Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's.
