This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. Camping is available at Canyon Creek Campground, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Paint Creek Trail. Almeda Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the snow is December; April meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Bridge Street Cottages is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and the top       of Mount Adams is easily distinguished from Almeda Lake. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Lewis Range. If the weather is brilliant here at Almeda Lake, you can go for a hike along the Murray Canyon Trail. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Almeda Lake. While you're here at Almeda Lake you can take a hike along the Harris Ridge Trail; possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Marion Lake is just a very short distance away.                  Get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Bear Creek; if you've had enough of Almeda Lake, Dickey Lake is nearby. So much fun stuff in the Lewis Range, just phenomenal. Why not camp at Eld Island Campground since you're here at Almeda Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork. All through the warm days of summer here at Almeda Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's.
