This lake is located in the wonderful Big Belt Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Alkali Lake is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Skidway Campground is a tremendous location to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Belgrade is a fine place to spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year at Alkali Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime       lows are commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Alkali Lake tend to be in the 10's. North Fork Woods Gulch Creek is a perfect local stream, and there's always Springdale Colony Dam to take a look at near Alkali Lake. Not much rainfall falls here at Alkali Lake; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. So many exciting things to do                  here in the Big Belt Mountains, too brilliant to be true.
