In Montana there are many beautiful lakes, Akaiyan Lake is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are delightful spots to explore, and Glacier National Park is no exception, and a good place to camp here at Akaiyan Lake is Avalanche Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a nice location to spend a night or two, and at Akaiyan

| | Lake you can spot Edwards Mountain. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Avalanche Trail; do put some time aside to spend at Akaiyan Falls since you're here at Akaiyan Lake. Be careful coming to the Lewis Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. Don't leave Akaiyan Lake without first checking out Sperry Glacier, and Avalanche Basin is right here at Akaiyan Lake.

Lake; Gunsight Pass Trail is a great local trail, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Avalanche Lake is just a very short distance away. High temperatures at Akaiyan Lake throughout the summertime months are in the
70's, and the night is fairly cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 20's; nighttime lows through the winter for Akaiyan Lake tend to be in the 10's. Camping is available at Sprague
Creek Campground; Comeau Pass is a wonderful place to go to.
That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Lewis Range has it all. There's great hiking along the Snyder Lake Trail; a perfect location
for whitewater paddling is Flathead River - Middle Fork. Akaiyan Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; December is the month that gets the most snow; April is when it's the driest.
