A visit to Aeneas Lake is always a good idea. And if that's not enough there's a heap more fun things to do in the Lewis Range. Glacier National Park is a good national park, and do check out Birch Lake, it's a scenic lake. Aeneas Lake is right by the Graves Creek Trail, and there are some good whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork. Aeneas Lake is a good site of common rainfall; most of the rain falls during November; July is when it's the driest.

| | From Aeneas Lake you acquire a great vista of Mount Aeneas; you can stay the night at Handkerchief Lake Campground. At Aeneas Lake throughout the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Aeneas Lake. Aeneas Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range.

to do here in the Lewis Range. Dry warm beds await you at Bridge Street Cottages, and the Aeneas Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a great choice.
All the outdoors fun stuff close to Aeneas Lake will keep you coming back over and over. If you come at the right time of year, Swan River offers some brilliant whitewater. There's so much to do here at Aeneas Lake that you need to
camp here for a while, Lid Creek Campground is a great location for that.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Wolf Creek Trail is pleasant fun, and a trip to Jewel Basin revitalizes the spirit.
