Walker Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month       of December is the wettest with most of the rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn West Point. There's so much to do here at Walker Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Town Creek Recreation Area is a good site for that. All through the summertime months at Walker Lake temperatures are regularly in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 70's.
