    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Sumrall Lake. During your spree to Sumrall Lake you'll meet some people from Hattiesburg for sure, and tremendous hiking is available along the Black Creek Hiking Trail. Inn On The Hill is a tremendous place to get some rest, and of course Braiden Creek flows through this neighborhood. High temperatures at Sumrall Lake throughout the summertime are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the  
   70's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Sumrall Lake temperatures dip to the 30's.
You could also visit Elks Lake since you're here at Sumrall Lake; it's close by, and don't leave Sumrall Lake without first going for a hike along the Buckeye Trail. Sumrall Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain while October is usually
 
               the driest month. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Sumrall Lake. Dogwood Lake Dam is worth going to while you're here, and Okatoma River Resort is a good campground nearby.
Sumrall Lake is not the only site nearby, Dogwood Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hattiesburg Super 8 Motel is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Cypress Hill Resort is a great location to camp.
