Summertime highs at Stringer Pond regularly tend to be in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Stringer Pond are in the 30's. Camping at Lazy-j Campgrounds       is always a good experience; a stunning lake like Car Lake is a pleasant spot to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Horseshoe Lake near Stringer Pond, it's a lovely lake, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn - Picayune is a great spot to spend a night or two. All the water falling down from the sky makes Stringer Pond a wet place; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is October.
