You absolutely must fancy Straight Lake. Deer Lake is a great lake near Straight Lake. During the warm months here at Straight Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. When       the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 70's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Straight Lake dip into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Roy's Store Cabins and Campgrounds, and Hampton Inn Greenville is a magnificent location to get some rest. The great people of Greenville like to hang out nearby, and there are other places here than Straight                  Lake, for example Lizard Lake.
