There's so much to do here at Spring Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Perry is a brilliant location for that. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Spring Lake. Go for a hike on the Black Creek Hiking Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Hillman Dead River is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Spring Lake, and Holiday       Inn Express Hotel & Suites LUCEDALE is a great site to get some rest. Don't forget to take a delightful little trip to Atkinson Creek, and if you came to camp Red Wolf Wilderness Adventures is a nice site to do that. There's always McLain Sewage Lagoon Dam to go to next to Spring Lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Woodstone is a glorious site to spend a night or two. Much rain falls at Spring Lake; all through March this area sees the most rain;                  October is the month with the least moisture. All through the warm months at Spring Lake highs are usually in the 90's while night lows are mostly in the 60's.
