A lake nearby is Round Lake, and not far from Sportsman Lake you acquire some great water scenery at Sportsman Lake Dam. Sportsman Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. Going for a hike on the Black Creek Hiking Trail is always a nice adventure. Sportsman Lake is not the only site close by, Clear Lake is a close by lake, and Sportsman Lake
