Do stop at Spring Lake right next door to Sims Lake, it's a gorgeous lake; if you came to camp Cypress Creek Campgrounds is a great spot to do that. There's some exciting stuff to see at Durant Lagoon Dam near Sims Lake; a pretty lake like Round Lake is a great location to visit. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. A fine close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn, and Sims Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Vaiden Koa Kampground

This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Durant is a good choice; a quick spree to Indian Creek is certainly a pleasant idea. Sims Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain; September is the month with the least moisture. For the period of the months of summer at Sims Lake temperatures are regularly in the 90's; the overnight is a bit colder of course, usually | |
