     If the weather is glorious here at Sims Lake, you can go for a hike along the Black Creek Hiking Trail, and there are other sites here than Sims Lake, for example Wedgeworth Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Inn Hattiesburg, and going for a hike along the Buckeye Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Sims Lake has it all. There's so much to do here at Sims Lake that you need to  
   camp here for a while, Okatoma River Resort is a glorious place for that, and at Sims Lake you always meet someone from Hattiesburg.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Cypress Hill Resort, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not take a look at Owens Bluff Lake. All through the months of summer at Sims Lake highs are frequently in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 70's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally
 
               in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Sims Lake during the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 30's. If you're here at Sims Lake, you could go to Carters Creek, and Super 8 Motel - Hattiesburg is a glorious place to get some rest.
