At Simpson Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at       Simpson Lake dip into the 20's. Simpson Lake gets lots of water; March is the month that gets the most rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Simpson Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Stinkin Jims is a good spot to camp nearby.
