What a location this is for outdoors people. Fish Lake is a good lake right next door to Sand Ridge Lake, and going for a hike on the Tuxachanie Trail is always a great adventure. All through the months of summer at Sand Ridge Lake highs are mostly in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 60's, and       overnight lows in the 30's for Sand Ridge Lake. Lakes? Sure, Blue Lake is nearby, and unsurprisingly Black Branch flows through this area. This lake is so wonderful. Sand Ridge Lake is not far at all from Gulfport-Biloxi. There are delightful places to explore along the Black Creek Hiking Trail, and everybody loves Big Island. Sand Ridge Lake commonly gets a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls during March, and the driest month is October. For you                  golfers we recommend close by Pine Burr Country Club, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Woodstone is a good location to spend a night or two. Why not camp at Parker Lake RV Park if you're here at Sand Ridge Lake, and nearby you find the Big Foot Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.
