The friendly folks of Pascagoula like to hang out nearby, and a wonderful lake like Sams Lake is a delightful spot to check out. Summertime highs at Rogers Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Rogers Lake temperatures drop to the       30's. Rogers Lake is a wet site that gets lots of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest of the months is October. Rogers Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Riverbend Park Resort is a great spot to camp nearby, and you'll stumble on a scenic lake called Barnes Lake. Rogers Bend is an interesting place to explore while at Rogers Lake; Bluff Creek Campgrounds is a tremendous campground nearby. A swamp like Big                  Bear Bayou close to Rogers Lake has lots of exciting things to see, and a tremendous close by hotel is Suburban Extended Stay Gautier. This lake is so wonderful.
