You simply have to pop by Scott Bend if you're here at Ragland Lake, and you'll find a beautiful lake called Ginfield Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm spots, why not pop by Blue Lake near Ragland Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail in close proximity to Ragland Lake called the Buckeye Trail, and why not a little side journey to Garraway Creek. Man, is there heaps of       entertaining stuff to do right next door to Ragland Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Hattiesburg here, and the landscape is dominated by the Ragland Hills. Near Ragland Lake you come across the Black Creek Hiking Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and if you need a site to stay Inn On The Hill is a pleasant choice. Hattiesburg Super 8 Motel is a brilliant place to get some rest; if you came to camp Cypress Hill Resort is a great place to do that.                  The summit of Ragland Hills can be made out from Ragland Lake; Ragland Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Deer Run Lake Hunting Lodge is a great local campground. For the duration of the days of summer here at Ragland Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 90's, and the night is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 70's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and night lows at Ragland Lake all through the winter regularly plunge into the 30's.
