Do go to Old River Cutoff close to Pool C, it's a lovely lake, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Amory. This lake is so wonderful. A lovely lake like Queen Lake in close proximity to Pool C is a good site to have a look at; naturally Cummings Creek flows through this area.
