Camping at Pontotoc Lake is great fun, Davis Lake Campground is a great local campground; if you need a place to stay Days Inn is a great choice. Here at Pontotoc Lake you'll almost certainly meet some people from Tupelo. This lake is so wonderful. Pontotoc Lake is a nice location to camp, Natchez Trace RV Park is a nice location, and Mile Branch is right next door to Pontotoc Lake       and is always a diversion to pop by. Dry warm beds await you at Pontotoc Days Inn; there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Witch Dance Horse Trail. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Pontotoc Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Pontotoc Lake drop into the 20's.
