This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Laurel Koa Kampground is always a magnificent experience, and whitewater paddling is great on Chunky River. Phalti Lakes regularly gets a large amount of rainfall; through March this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount       of precipitation. Days Inn Newton is a great site to get some rest, and Phalti Lakes is not the only site nearby, Lake Claude Bennett is a nearby lake. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Phalti Lakes. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's.
