Through the summer highs here at Old Jail Lake get into the 90's, and the overnight is a little chillier of course, usually in the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Old Jail Lake. Old Jail Lake is a wet location that gets a large amount of rainfall; through the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is regularly the driest month. You're sure to encounter       some cheerful folks from Bogalusa here; camping at Clear water Creek Resort is always a pleasant experience. After a long day outdoors Days Inn - Picayune is a fine spot to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Lazy-j Campgrounds. This lake is so wonderful.
