A magnificent close by hotel is Comfort Inn Picayune. Moody Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Sun Roamers RV Resort is a tremendous local campground, and there are plenty of people from Picayune here at Moody Lake. For the period of the warm days of summer at Moody Lake temperatures are frequently in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 70's. The       winter comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Moody Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Moody Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lazy-j Campgrounds is a wonderful site for that, and Back Bayou is an attention-grabbing swamp in close proximity to Moody Lake. Moody Lake gets much water; the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that rains the most, and October meanwhile                  is the driest month. Lakes?
