     Take a little trip to Atkinson Creek since you're here at Moody Lake, and a brilliant close by hotel is Best Western Woodstone. Lakes are pleasant; Brushy Lake is a lake that's close to Moody Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Moody Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Perry. This lake is so wonderful. This is a delightful region for folks who like lakes. Duck Pond is a lake nearby, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express  
   Hotel & Suites LUCEDALE is a delightful choice. During the long summer days at Moody Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Moody Lake.
There's so much to do here at Moody Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Red Wolf Wilderness Adventures is a magnificent place for that, and McLain Sewage Lagoon Dam is a gorgeous
 
               location, beyond doubt worth a visit. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Moody Lake. The top of Gee Dee Hills is easily distinguished from Moody Lake. Moody Lake is a rather wet place commonly with much rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
