Just getting warmed up. Not far from Minter Lake, you'll find Jacklot Lake which is a beautiful lake, and you can stay the night at Hugh White State Park. A great deal of precipitation falls at Minter Lake; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here; August meanwhile is the driest month. Lakes are glorious; Durgin Lake is a lake that's       right next door to Minter Lake; Frog Hollow Campground /RV Park is a great campground nearby.
