Beautiful Mill Pond has much to offer visitors. All through the summer here at Mill Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Mill Pond are in the 20's. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by A B Farris Pond Dam, and Mill Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Coal Bluff

| | Park Campground is a nice local campground. A delightful nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Inn & Suites, and the Shockaloe Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. The high level of precipitation makes Mill Pond a rather wet place; December is the wettest month with most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Forest - Days Inn is a fine choice. There's so much to do here at Mill Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pelahatchie Lake Campgrounds is a splendid site for that.
