     Looking for something in the neighborhood of Merritt Lake? Hillman Dead River is close at hand; Merritt Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Red Wolf Wilderness Adventures is a great local campground. Looking for a perfect trip? Gulf Islands National Seashore is reasonably near Merritt Lake, and if you came to camp Lake Perry is a nice location to do that. Throughout the warm days of summer at Merritt Lake highs are mostly in the 90's while overnight  
   lows are regularly in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Merritt Lake. This place, Merritt Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors exciting stuff.
