Lakes are pleasant; Bailey Lake is a lake that's near McRae Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Meridian is a nice place to get some rest, and if you came to camp Meridan East/Toomsuba KOA is a fine place to do that. This is a nice neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Long Creek Reservoir is a lake close at hand, and dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn and Suites Meridian. All the water falling       down from the sky makes McRae Lake a wet place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. While you're here at McRae Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Meridian. McRae Lake Dam is worth a visit while you're here, and camping at Toomsuba Koa Kampground is always a brilliant experience. Through the warm days of summer highs here                  at McRae Lake get into the 90's, and the night is quite colder of course, commonly in the 60's.
