All the water falling down from the sky makes McCann Lake a wet place; December is when you get the most rain here, and August on the other hand is the driest. Summer       brings highs in the 90's to McCann Lake with nighttime lows in the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at McCann Lake are in the 30's. Some nearby water includes Beatties Branch, and after a long day outdoors Canton-Days Inn is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. Camping at Mississippi Petrified Forest is always a glorious experience; you'll locate a picturesque lake called Big Black Lake.
