All the water falling down from the sky makes Makay Lake a wet place; during March this area sees the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. A scenic lake like Sandbar Lake near Makay Lake is a delightful spot to go to. There's so much to do here at       Makay Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Perry is a glorious site for that, and you'll find a pretty lake called Black Lake. At Makay Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Makay Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
