If you are traveling by, why not stop by Mackie Lake. Summer at Mackie Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Mackie Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Clarksdale is a good site to spend a night or two. Mackie Lake sees pretty high

There are other spots here than Mackie Lake, for example Beasley Lake, and camping is available at Helena Marine Barge Terinal. Having a good time at Mackie Lake is uncomplicated. Dry Bayou flows through this area, and J T Farguson Pond Dam is not far at all from Mackie Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Pat Kelley RV Park is a wonderful place to camp; you'll meet a lot of folks from Clarksdale here. | |
