During the warm months at Long Lake highs are mostly in the 90's; the night is a tad cooler of course, mostly in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's, and night lows through the winter for Long Lake tend to be in the 20's. Long Lake commonly gets       lots of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here, and September meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Leake County water Park is a wonderful spot for that, and do stop by Gravel Slough while you're here at Long Lake. Long Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Coal Bluff Park Campground is a tremendous local campground, and the Shockaloe                  Trail offers hiking at its best.
