This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Passport Inn & Suites Natchez is a great location to spend a night or two; a brilliant spot to camp here at Long Lake is River View RV Park and Resort. Long Lake mostly gets a large amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most while September       is frequently the driest month. A cool spot to stop at close to Long Lake is Dead Mans Bend, and at Long Lake you always meet someone from Natchez. Lakes? Sure, Forked Lake is close at hand; Long Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Plantation Park is a brilliant local campground. Summertime highs at Long Lake usually tend to be in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 70's.
