This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Osyka Springs Campground is always a fine experience, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western McComb Inn & Suites. Throughout the warm days of summer at Lake Tangipahoa highs are ordinarily in the 90's, and the night is a tad colder of course, mostly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter       nights at Lake Tangipahoa are in the 30's. Lake Tangipahoa is good enough to spend more than a day at, Percy Quin State Park is a good local campground, and Days Inn McComb MS is a splendid spot to get some rest. Alford Lake is a wonderful lake close to Lake Tangipahoa, and enjoy a round of golf at Oakridge Driving Range & Golf Course. Lake Tangipahoa gets a great deal of water; most of the rain falls during March; October is when it's the driest. And                  if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do in the vicinity of Lake Tangipahoa.
