    It's always fun to stop by Lake Sequoyah. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Lake Sequoyah. If you're visiting Lake Sequoyah from Tupelo, you won't be the only one; Big Oaks Golf Course is a perfect golf course nearby. At Lake Piomingo Dam next to Lake Sequoyah there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and Jameson Inn Tupelo is a glorious site to get some rest. High temperatures at Lake Sequoyah all through the warm months are in the 90's;  
   the overnight is rather chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lake Sequoyah.
Lake Sequoyah is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls during March; the driest month of the year is October. Lake Sequoyah is great enough to spend more than a day at, Tombigbee State Park is a great local campground, and lakes are
 
               such serene places, why not stop at Little Turkey Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. A scenic lake like Saltillo Lakes close to Lake Sequoyah is a nice place to stop at; a fine close by hotel is Wingate by Wyndham Tupelo. A magnificent spot to camp here at Lake Sequoyah is Natchez Trace RV Park, and Natchez Trace Parkway is a glorious national park.
