Lakes are pleasant; Chautauqua Lake is a lake that's next to Lake Copiah. The warmest time of the year at Lake Copiah arrives with high temperatures in the 90's with night lows in the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are usually in the 50's, and overnight lows at Lake Copiah throughout the wintertime frequently descend into the 30's. Life's too short to enjoy       all the entertaining stuff near Lake Copiah. The high level of rain makes Lake Copiah a quite wet place; most of the rain falls during March, and September on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn, and do visit Lake Copiah Dam if you're here.
