Having a good time at Kates Pond is painless. Do visit Gater Lake close to Kates Pond, it's a lovely lake, and a wonderful spot to camp here at Kates Pond is Bluff Creek Campgrounds. The high level of precipitation makes Kates Pond a reasonably wet place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest.
