You'll meet a lot of folks from Laurel here, and a quick tour to Basie Branch is without doubt a great idea. Summer at Jordan Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Jordan Lake. Motorama Gardens is a brilliant campground nearby; a good       nearby hotel is Best Western Ellisville Inn. Jordan Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
