Poverty Point National Monument is a splendid local destination here at Jones Lake. Lakes are wonderful; Brushy Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Jones Lake. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Tallulah LA is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. Ameristar Rv Park is a magnificent local campground, and there are plenty of folks from Tallulah here at Jones Lake. Jones Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Magnolia Rv Park is a fine place to camp nearby, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Chotard Lake. 90's, and the night is a little chillier of course, commonly in the 70's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Jones Lake sink into the 30's.

I have been doing some research on levee breaks and the larger ones (like Cabin Teele and Mounds Landing in Mississippi) usually gouge out a lake when it breaks. She loves tent camping in state parks and national battlefields. I know that she was camping at Watega State Park, WV until Sunday (7/30) morning. She is also interested in Civil War battlefields and was at Shiloh National Military Park last week. We think she may be in your area.
I would greatly appreciate it if you would alert the campgrounds in your parks, especially around battlefields.
