There's some flowing water close by, Gravel Slough is a stream you can visit during your stay, and a gorgeous lake like Black Lake is a nice place to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Johnson Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Coal Bluff Park Campground is a great place to camp nearby; why not take a refreshing       hike along the Shockaloe Trail. Throughout the warm months at Johnson Lake highs are generally in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Johnson Lake are in the 20's. Leake County water Park is a splendid campground nearby.
